  • Awake at 5 up at 6. Filled dishwasher and washing machine, then put coffee on for when @September_Blue @sidneykidney get up.
  • I LOVE my dishwasher. It saves me so much time! Feeling very domestic goddess this morning. House is tidy and fridge is full of yum.
  • Or rather the fridge is full for now. Chocolate cake did not last long and when @SomeCallMeLaz visits she will steal many truffles.
  • Have jus learnt that the "scientific" study in 2007 that said red heads would die out was funded by proctor and gamble. Hair dye makers.
  • mmm, a wee conflict of interests I think, also Nat geographic say its all crap and the "scientists" are not even named.

  • Shower then bed I think. Not feeling that great.
  • No idea what sprog was doing last night but my stomach is purple with new stretch marks this morning. It aches!
  • Its raining, snow gone... booo. Was in a miserable mood at 6am, hubbie persuaded me back to bed even though I was hurting.
  • Glad he did, managed to doze off. Feeling much better and tucking into breakfast No 2. Cheese, seedy bread, olives and coffee. YUM!
  • Another productive morning. 2 trays of tiffin sitting in the fridge. Though now the kitchen is a state. Cooking keeps my mind off my hips.
  • Done this months budget. Am solvent for another month... just! Baby may just scupper my finances ;-) Though I have tried to factor it in.

  • Up before dawn once more. House is COLD! Going to make some porridge just to warm my hands up.
  • Eurostar crippled, people stuck in traffic jams for 24 hours... The south has only had a few inches of snow!
  • Why does the country grind to a halt with a few flakes of the white stuff? I can hear Canada laughing at us!
  • SNOW! WE HAVE SNOW AT LAST!!!!!! HEEEEEEE!!!!
  • Woke hubbie up at 7;30am to "look at snow" he was very understanding about it. Made him a bacon sandwich to make up for the early morning.

  • Writing resil again... I may be some time...
  • Gotta grab some lunch proto, guest at 2!
  • Trainee teacher dropped by for a few hours. He seemed in good spirits. His mum is apparently knitting a blanket for sprog, awww!
  • Typing up a little resil before I slip back into a coma. Its been a busy day.

  • Practically everyone I know has either the vomiting bug or the cold. Just waiting to pick one up in time for christmas
  • NO SNOW! DAMNIT!
  • Ok, very productive morning. Kitchen spotless and choc cake in the oven. Need to do a couple of other things before my mother in law arrives
  • And no I'm not cleaning up for her! She is the last person on earth to care about mess. Its just my upbringing we always cleaned for guests
  • OK, chocolate cake morphed into chocolate and cream sponge. Choc truffles are sitting in the fridge, they will be ready tomorrow.
  • My employer has decreed that as I am off with a pregnancy related illness my maternity leave started on the 13th of this month.
  • That is going to cut into my time with sprog by 5 weeks! WAAAAAA! Stupid body. Why could you have not kept going till Christmas?
  • All tired now, nap time.

  • Now using my bed properly I may actually be able to lie down and sleep! Will have to set alarm, midwife coming in the morning.
  • No snow for us still. *cries* 6 hours sleep last night! WOOT!
  • Actually hobbled over the front door step today. Fresh air! Had forgotten what the sky and sun looked like!
  • OK, now it is snowing... a bit...I don't see it sticking unless it gets MUCH heavier.

  • Slept from 12 to 4am. Not too bad. Having "test" contractions. guess body is getting ready to drop sprog.
  • Sprog must be growing again. Having been up since 4ish I had porridge around about 6am and now at 9am I am having breaky two.
  • I suspect i am a very tall hobbit in reality.
  • Another pivotal scene of Resil bites the dust. I am on a role today. Having a fine time rattling around the kitchen while hubbie snores
  • EWWW! Budgies it is FAR too early in the morning to be doing that sort of thing! Just stop it! You're supposed to be cute not randy.
  • Shock horror! My brother called me! had a nice chat, apparently his wife of only a few months is getting broody and its my fault...
  • "She has books on diets for conception and nutrition during pregnancy!" I could not help but laugh.
  • Have just realised we have been sleeping on the wrong side of our mattress for 8 months. Thought it was a bit hard!

  • Well I'm up and waiting for an ambulance to take me to hospital for a scan. Wish I could drive!

  • Freezing fog today, boat horns woke me up, then hubbies alarm, then my hip... Gave up and got up. Coffee and brecky needed stat!

  • These dysentery beige pressure socks really work but look awful! I feel like my granny shuffling around with these things on!
  • Writing and playing Zoo world on facebook. That should keep me out of trouble! Anyone want zoo world invite, let me know.
  • Better see about some lunch... need to warm up a bit. Soup and sandwich I think.
  • Struggled to get to the phone, it rang off. Picked up message... do I want laser I treatment? Grrr! All that effort for a cold call!

  • Have transferred everything from my old desk to my new one. Looks a bit weird having a laptop on an antique, but somehow it works.
  • Have dozed most of the day away, now totally wired and awake. Hungry too, gona raid the fridge.

  • 4 hours kip, not bad. Would have been more but posty arrived with more of my gifts. Better get wrapping!
  • I love this island. Posty banned at the door forcing me to abandon crutches and hurry to door. I needed a signature and apologised for...
  • ... the rush he was in. He then spent 5 minutes chatting telling me how busy he was... Lucky I am in a good mood!
  • Wrapping all the international presents. Think i will run out of paper!
  • Legs not so good today, they seem to be dragging behind me a lot.
  • Back in bed before I fall over. Legs were giving out on me.
